Iraq reduces food quota for October

Iraq said yesterday it would reduce certain food rations to its sanction-hit people for October and blamed the United States for hampering new contracts under the UN oil-for-food deal, Al Ahrar daily said today.
Iraqis who are reliant on government reactions would also not receive a full quota of soap and cooling oil this month.
