Iran will implement an underground metro in Damascus

Syria and Iran signed an agreement through which the Tehran Metro company will implement an underground metro in the Syrian capital. The agreement stipulated that the Iranian side is responsible for preparing a comprehensive study of the project and to supervise its implementation and investments.
The city of Damascus had previously signed an agreement with a Japanese company to study the situation of the roads of the city.
