US companies dominate oil extraction in the Gulf

As of next March, 60 years will have been passed since the first large-scale oil extraction operation was carried out in the Arab world. The extracted oil was exported to the Arab countries. After this Saudi Arabia became one of the most important oil exporting countries. Oil extraction was done by the US company Sokal Oil, and most of the work in the oil fields was done with the assistance of American companies which untill now considers the Gulf region its first market in the world.

American engineering groups have great dominance in Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Kuwait due to the enormous works they carry out. For example in Saudi Arabia, the US company ARAMCO is trying to increase the production of gas factories, and American companies run most of the new projects.

In addition to this the US citizen Fleud Daniel is the director of one of the biggest and most important petrochemical projects in Saudi which is the US Ervin company. Ervin runs the extension operations in the petrochemical company in Yanbu at a cost of $2.5 billion. The US ABB Lomas Global had recently been assigned the responsibility of producing 800 thousand tons of ethylene per year.
