Jordanian prince makes sudden visit to US

King Hussein of Jordan sent his brother, Crown Prince Hassan, to Washington yesterday on a surprise mission to deliver an undisclosed message to US President Bill Clinton, a palace source said.
The official, who declined to give any details of the previously unannounced visit, told reporters that Prince Hassan would hold talks on bilateral ties, along with, "International and regional efforts get rid of all obstacles facing the Middle East peace process," Al Ahram daily said today.
