Libya to hold cooperation meetings with Egypt

The Libyan-Egyptian economic committee will hold a meeting during the second half of this September to implement the recommendations of the higher commission under the auspices of Presidents Hosni Mubarak and Moammar Gaddafi.
The Libyan ambassador to Cairo said that the committee will examine methods aimed at increasing joint investments, especially in the fields of medical supplies, iron products, textiles, ready to wear clothes and the automobile industry.
The committee is also scheduled to discuss the Libyan contribution to Toshka projects from the surplus of oil revenues as well as other projects by the Libyan investors in the Agricultural and production fields, Al Ahram said today.
