The 2nd International Conference of Mediterranean Countries starts today

Within the meetings of the 2nd International Conference of Development and Cooperation among the Mediterranean Countries which starts today in the Greek city of Cozali, the Egyptian director of the General Investment and Free Zones Authority Dr. Ibrahim Fawzy will talk about the progress of the Egyptian economy and the investment environment that Egypt enjoys, through which it can attract more investments.
More than 21 Mediterranean countries will participate in the conference with their Ministers of Economy in addition to 33 Heads of Chambers of Industry and Trade Unions, together with more than 30 dignitaries in the world of economy and business, and 11 governors of central banks in the participating countries.
The conference will discuss investment legislation, bank systems, and types of economic cooperation among these countries, in addition to studying the roles of small and intermediate institutions, and the procedures for setting up joint companies in these countries.
The head of Egyptian delegation in the conference ,Dr. Fawzy, stated that the conference aims to increase contacts among the Mediterranean countries, to found a joint information basis, and networks of exchanging experiences and supporting the non governmental organizations in these countries.
