Book exhibition opens at Al Assad Library

Under the patronage of the Syrian President Hafez al Assad, the 13th Arab book exhibition opened September 25 at Al Assad Library. Some 361 Arab publication houses from 13 Arab countries and 14 foreign publication houses from 7 foreign countries are to take part in this exhibition.
The participating Arab countries are Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and Morocco whereas the foreign participating countries are Iran, America, Britain, Russia, France, Cyprus, and Japan.
