Gifts on display at local fair

Assistant undersecretary for Kuwaiti foreign trade affairs Badder Abdel Rahim inaugurated on September 25 Kuwait's International Gifts Exhibition which continues till October 3.
He told reporters the exhibition is considered a marketing outlets for gift products in Kuwait and the Gulf region.
The diversity of items displayed makes it difficult to assess Kuwait's imports of gifts, since nothing that a car or a refrigerator can fall under the classification of gifts.
Taking part in the exhibition are 41 foreign and local companies including Pakistan, India, Iran, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates displaying various items including paintings, office and home accessories.
About Kuwait's participation in international exhibitions, Abdel Rahim said that Kuwait, represented by the Commerce and Industry Ministry, will take part in Oman's international exhibition at the end of September and the Arab-African exhibition in the United Arab Emirates in December.
