Qatar-Canada talks on petrochemical cooperation

Qatar's Energy and Industry Minister Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah arrived yesterday in Sarina and toured the Nova Corporation's petrochemical complex there as part of his current visit to Canada.
Mr. Al-Attiyah and the official accompanying delegation held a meeting with the chief executive officer of the Nova Corporation, Ted Newall. Qatar News Agency reported that the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation in petrochemical industries between Qatar and Canada. Al-Athiyah was briefed by the Canadian firm on sophisticated technical methods and advanced management systems in petrochemicals. Following the meeting, the Qatari official toured the company's industrial installations.
