Charles Helou station opens

"We're back!!" That's the first thought I had when I knew about the official opening of the "Charles Helou" station for traveling and transport yesterday. The Serbs and Croats, the Europeans of 1945 and all the people who have survived a war would understand what I mean.
The station, which is the pumping heart of our public transport system, is a project that dates from the pre-war era. Bombs had turned it into a haunted house for a long time. Now it's "back for good." The rehabilitation of this system will ease the life of those many people who can't afford cars and will solve a part of the traffic problem. Most of all, it will give us the certainty that we're a "normal" country again. So hold on to your seats and enjoy the ride!
