Egyptian businessmen visit North African countries
Egypt, Economics, 9/23/1997
A delegation of Egyptian businessmen will tour the North African Arab countries (Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco) during the first half of October, on a 2-week visit.
The visit was organized by the Center for Developing Egyptian Exports (CDEE) to promote the Egyptian exports, to increase inter-Arab trade, and study the establishment of joint investment projects.
A well-informed source at the CDEE stated that the Egyptian businessmen will hold meetings with their counterparts in the North African countries. Cooperation protocols are expected to be signed between Egypt and those countries.
The source also mentioned that the delegation includes representatives from the sectors of aluminum, iron, steel, the weaving industry, medical supplies, and ready-made garments. Those representatives will try to reach exporting deals with these countries.
