Egyptian Presidents Naser and Sadat in the Egyptian cinema

The Egyptian Department of Censorship on Artistic Productions headed by Critic Aly Abu Shady permitted the shooting of two films, one of which depicts the life of the late Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Naser and the other which tackles important phases in the life of the late President Anwar Sadat.
The first film depicts the life of Naser from the time he was a student, to his graduation in 1948 , nationalization of the Suez Canal, the 1967 War, and finally to his death in 1970. The budget of the film is LE 4 million, and it is directed by the Syrian director Anwar Kawadry, featuring the young actors Khaled El Sawy, Abla Kamel, and Gamil Rateb.
The second film tackles the important phases of the life of late Egyptian P:resident Anwar Sadat with the title "The President's Assassination" directed by Mounir Radi, the story written by Adel Hamouda and the scenario by Beshir El Deek.
