Large-scale development project to resume next year

The United Real Estate company said in Kuwait on September 17 it would resume next year the execution of the fifth stage of the waterfront project.

The company's chairman, Abdel Aziz Al Jasser, said in a news conference that the cost of the project was estimated at nearly 46 million Kuwaiti dinars (nearly $150 million US) and would be completed in 48 months.

The project which will stretch for three kilometers, will be distinguished by its fabulous design and serve the interests of a great number of people. He pointed out that a number of similar projects would be established in the future in different suburbs.

The project includes a variety of sea and modern activities and would include a pavilion comprising restaurants, marine equipment sales outlets and a children's museum.
