The prayers in Al-Imam Aboul Rahman Mosque in Wad Nubawi -Omdrman accused the National Islamic Front (NIF), Sudan's ruling party, of spiltting the unity of Al-Ansar.
The prayers protested against last Wednesday's preacher, who called on Al-Ansar to support the leadership of Ahmed El-Mahdi.
The prayers hailed Al Sadiq Mahdi, the last elected prime minster of Sudan and the leader of the Umma party, and jeered the government of President Omar Al Bashir, Al Khartoum said today.
