A chain of restaurants in the commercial district in Lebanon
Lebanon, Business, 9/18/1997

Work has started to transform the famous Artisana Building in Beirut's commercial district into a chain of restaurants bearing the tittle Brasserie du Rion. This chain is part of the restaurant group owned by the Lebanese businessman Beshara Ghor and run by a holding company, headed by Awareth, which runs various groups of hotels and restaurants.

Ghor signed an agreement with the Tollarier Company to use the Artisana building. He reached another agreement with the same company through which he bought a piece of land in the commercial district which he will use for building a housing and commercial center in addition to opening a European restaurant.

Awareth possesses the right to manage and invest in many hotels spread in various areas in Beirut like Le Ghobrial, Al Ashrafia, Berkley, Al Hamra, and Beverley in addition to its investments in some famous restaurants like Al Dante, the Megana, and Khiam Al Hana.
