80 percent booking rate for Aida

Dr. Nasser Al-Ansari, chairman of the Cairo opera house, announced that audiences booking tickets to watch Verdi's opera Aida in Luxor October this year are larger than expected.
Dr. Ansari disclosed that the booking rate has reached more than 80 percent already. He added that the increased rate of ticket sales is attributable to successful press conferences held in several US and European cities to market the performance.
He mentioned that more than 800 media articles were published on the opera, Al Ahrar daily said today.
