Egyptian president to open Nubian Museum in October

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will attend the inauguration of the Nubian Museum in Aswan on October11.
World statesmen and leaders will be invited to the ceremony, Egyptian Culture Minister Farouk Hosni said yesterday.
Hosni, who was speaking to journalists while inspecting the museum, said that the LE 60 million museum (about 15 million US dollars) will be open for the public for free for one month after inauguration, Al Ahrar daily said today.
