Arafat accuses Israel of planning settler takeover

Palestinian Authority leader Yasser Arafat will attend a meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo this Friday to discuss a crisis over Israeli settlement in Arab East Jerusalem, a senior official said yesterday.
Saeb Eriekat the chief negotiator also said Arafat would visit Europe next week to seek help in persuading Israel to freeze settlement activities that eroded confidence in the peace process, Al Wafd daily said today.
