Economic cooperation between Egypt and Germany

More than 100 Egyptian and German businessmen and government officials will meet in the German city of Cologne to discuss the fields of economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries and means of boosting the volume of the German investments in Egypt.
The Ambassador of Germany in Cairo Dr. Volf Deitrish Schiling confirmed that this meeting is part of a series of important meetings to reinforce the ties of the two countries. He added that many businessmen in the industrial field in both countries will study the possibility of setting up a cooperation council of the two Cambers of Industry in order to implement joint industrial projects in Egypt financed by Germany which will be also responsible for providing the technical experience and support.
An Egyptian German working day is scheduled within this visit under the auspices of the German Minister of Economy Dr. Gunter Rocksrot.
