Efforts underway to return displaced Lebanese to homes

Prime Minister Rafik Hariri had talks yesterday with Minister of Affairs for the Displaced Walid Joumblat, and efforts are being made to get homeless people back to their houses.
Joumblat expressed his disappointment because the plan to assure $1 billion in help for the displaced is not being realized; he said that this was hindering the return of these people to their houses.
Nevertheless, Mr. Joumblat announced that some progress has been made, but that this process needs financial support. "Meanwhile, small amounts of money are being reserved for this purpose," he finally said.
