New Algerian battle

Al Watan, an Algerian daily newspaper reported that official Algerian sources said that 11 innocent civilians had been killed on September 15 in Algeria by having their throats cut. The survivors said that their armed attackers killed the civilians to warn them to stay away from the balloting for the local authorities the next month or they will kill all of them in a very savage way.
Meantime official sources said that the security forces killed 7 rebels in the western province of Mascara.
