Troops kill rebels holed up in mosque

Terrorists killed six civilians, age 12 to 26, in the latest violence in Algeria.
Algeria's Le Matin newspaper reported that the six people were killed on Friday night in Mazar region, Beni Messous province, northwest of Telmcan.
In related matter, Algerian security forces assaulted a mosque and killed a terrorist clan. The paper reported that security forces killed five terrorists after a siege in a mosque. Al Watan paper said the rebels were residing in the Sidi Abdl Kader mosque and that security forces decided to use heavy weaponry and blow up much of the mosque, Al Ahrar daily said today.
