House Speaker Berri travels to Iran

After he finished his visit to Armenia to strengthen relationships and economic ties, Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri traveled today to Iran with the same intention of improving the links between the two countries.
Before his flight to Teheran, Berri commented yesterday on Israeli attacks on Lebanon saying that it was the result of the frustration of Israelis due to the failure of their commando operation on September 5.
The Iranian foreign affairs minister met with his Lebanese counterpart, Fares Boueiz, to discuss the situation in South Lebanon and expressed to him his concerns about the latest developments.
