Syria: No secret negations with Israel

Syria has denied holding any sort of clandestine talks with Israel, after an Israel radio report that a high-ranking Israeli official held secret negotiations in Europe this week focused on resuming peace talks with Syria.
The Syrian information minister said that this is not the first time an Israel official has made such incorrect claims.
Israeli radio has said that Uzi Arad, a senior advisor of Prime Minister Netanyahu, held secret talks in Europe st week that focused on resuming peace talks with Syria, Al Ahrar daily said today.
