Assad and Zayed on way to see Mubarak for peace talks

Syrian President Hafez El Assad and Shiekh Zayed Ben Soltan of the United Arab Emirates are due to visit Cairo during the current month to meet with President Hosni Mubarak to discuss the peace process together with relations.
The Egyptian president intends to visit Russia shortly to talks with the Russian president regarding the peace crisis and the Russian role in it, to make their participation as effective as that of their American counterpart.
