Alexandria¹s International film festival opened

Egypt's Minister of Culture yesterday opened Alexandria's 13th international film festival. The opening ceremony, held at 8:00 p.m. at the city¹s conference hall, was attended by the city's governor, Abdel Salam Mahgoup.
The minister honored veteran Egyptian actors, writers and film critics. Raouf Tawfik the festival chairman said.
Egypt¹s celebrated film director Yousef Chahin will hold a meeting with Alexandria¹s intellectuals and film critics to discuss a variety of topics related to Egyptian cinima and its crisis, Al Wafd daily said today.
