Syria decides on attending Tukey for sports amongst other places

The executive Bureau of the General Sport Federation (GSF) has taken several decisions on participating in GSF's sport activities.

First, it is taking part in the Turkey International weight lifting tournament to be held early in October.

Six weight lifters will represent Syrian in this event.

Second, it is taking part in the al Bakaa international boxing tournament starting in Amman on September 14.

The Mayssaloun club of Damascus and workers of Deir Zour club will represent Syria in this event.

Third, it is taking part at the Tunisia international boxing tournament to be held in November.

This participation comes within the preperation time of the outstanding boxers who will take part in the west Asia championship.

Fourth, it is taking part in the Nile international swimming race to be held in Egypt from 2 through 7 October.

Six swimmers of both sexes will represent Syria in this event.

And finally it is participating in the Saudi Arabia international water polo tournament to be held from 20 to 26 September.
