Iraq got 10% of medicine deal

Iraqi sources said Iraq had gotten only 10% of the medicine agreed on during the first phase of the UN oil-for-food deal, Al-Ahram daily said today.
The oil-for-food deal allocated $210 million for Iraq to buy medicine and medical supplies within the first phase.
The sources added that Iraq also received only 1.8 million tons of food out of the contracted 2.2 million, i.e. only 80%.
