Egypt participates in Baghdad exhibition for the first time

Egypt is going to participate in the coming International Baghdad Exhibition in the beginning of November. Ambassador Sherif Reman, Director of the Egyptian Interests Committee in Iraq stated that companies from the private and public sectors will participate with their products, including food, medicine, and medical supplies. This is the first time Egypt will participate in the Baghdad Exhibition since the blockade and economic sanctions imposed on Iraq in 1990.
Egypt is the biggest Arab country having commercial transactions with Iraq, followed by UAE and Qatar. Kuwait and Saudi Arabia insist on forcing Iraq to release the prisoners and those detained since the Gulf war before restoring any relations.
