Arab foreign ministers to discuss Israeli occupation of south Lebanon, Golan Heights, and Palestine

The Arab foreign ministers will hold their 108th session headed by Prince Saud Al Faisal, the Saudi Foreign Minister.
The Arab League's official spokesman, Talaat Hammad, said that the Arab Foreign Ministers will discuss a list of subjects, among which are the Israeli occupation of Arab lands, the developments of the problem of Palestine, the Arab Israeli struggle, the intifada (uprising), the problem of Jerusalem and Israel's changing its features, and Arab attempts to develop the Palestinian territories.
Hammad stated that the foreign ministers are currently studying the colonial settlement policy in the occupied Palestinian territories, the report submitted by the conference of the supervising committee of Palestinians living in the Arab countries, the financial status of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency of Palestinians in the near east, and the Israeli occupation of the Syrian Golan Heights and parts of south Lebanon. They are also studying the implementation of the Security Council resolution 425 in 1978.
The foreign ministers are discussing the issue of the Lebanese detained in the Israeli prisons, and making the Middle East a zone free of the Israeli mass destruction and nuclear weapons which endanger Arab national security.
