Mubarak to open Inter-Parliamentary Union meeting

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak is due to address the opening session of a major parliamentary congress in Cairo on Thursday September 11.
Mubarak will also give a reception for the heads of the delegations participating in the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) gathering scheduled to run through September 14, Al Ahram daily said today September 8.
