Transfered far from home, bus driver attempts suicide

Egyptian passengers in a public bus were shocked last week when the driver stopped the bus on the Ksar El Nil bridge and got out.
The passengers' shock increased when they saw the driver hurry to the bridge's fence and then jump into the water. Fortunately, water police speedboats managed to save the driver, who said that he was devastated when his senior officials moved him to work an area far from his home, Al Ahrar daily said September 6.
