Turkish businessmen invest in Saudi Arabia

A delegation of Turkish businessmen will visit Saudi Arabia on September 19-25. The delegation is to consist of representatives from 13 Turkish companies working in various fields. The delegation members will study commercial and investment opportunities with Saudi businessmen. It will visit Riyadh and Jedda.
Turkey seeks to strengthen its commercial cooperation with Saudi Arabia and the Islamic countries. The volume of commercial exchange between the two countries reached 1.3 billion dollars. The volume of investment of Saudi companies in Turkey is 243 million dollars, with 67 companies represented.
Turkish exports to Saudi Arabia represent 2.2 % of its total exports. Turkey seeks to boost commercial exchange with Saudi Arabia, which is considered the biggest market in the Middle East.
