Morocco, Politics, 9/5/1997
On the 44th anniversary of "The King and the People Revolution" King Hassan II declared that the date of the legislative elections is the last Friday of November, and that the government will form in mid January. The Moroccan monarch criticized bribing the voters in the last elections, the practice "is shameful," he said.
