In spite of violence, Algeria has a surplus in commercial balance

In spite of the bloodbaths in Algeria, it achieved for the first time in many years a surplus in its commercial balance amounting to 4 million dollars. This surplus was a result of the increase in international oil prices in addition to what Algeria attained from improving its oil and gas production by about 7.4%.
