Jordan, Politics, 9/4/1997
Jordan's opposition parties have denounced the Jordanian government's agreement with Israel to build a joint airport in Aqaba.
In a statement issued in Amman on September 3, the 11 parties called the airport deal a sell-out of national sovereignty, and denounced the government's allegations that irresponsible conducts do not violate the Jordanian sovereignty.
