Importing Iraqi Oil

Samir Oil Refining Company is expected to import 16 thousand tons of crude oil from Iraq under the oil-for-food deal, starting this month until December 31. Samir, located in Al Muhamadya overlooking the Atlantic ocean, is one of Morocco's biggest refineries. It fills 80% of the Moroccan needs of oil and its derivatives. It also has capital in the Casablanca stock market estimated at 6 million dirhams.
