Egypt: Sudanese claim about Halaib is wrong

Egypt yesterday denied a claim by the Sudanese information minister that the Egyptian troops in the border area of Halaib were closing gates on food supplies to the Sudanese.
An Egyptian official source added that the Sudanese claim is meant to cover up the failure by the Sudanese government to provide adequate supplies to its people in the area.
