Boys injured after sheep explodes shell

Two youngsters were wounded on September 2 when an old mortar shell accidentally exploded near Majdal Selem on the edge of the occupied zone. The 80 mm shell was detonated when one of a flock of sheep being tended by the young shepherds stepped on the device.
Hussien Mohammed Maaz, 12 and his brother Kamal 15, were taken to a hospital in Tebnin suffering from slight injures. Six of their sheep died.
The blast was initially believed to have been caused by a roadside bomb, leading Amal to blame Israel for planting the device.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops seized 16 year old Khanjar Shoueib from his hometown of Khiam inside the occupied zone and took him to an unknown destination. The arrest, for reasons that were not immediately clear, came after the troops stormed many houses in the village.
