Cairo meeting to discuss Doha economic conference

Syria, Egypt and the Arab League are preparing for a four-way meeting in Cairo to discuss a controversial regional conference in Doha, according to a newspaper report.
The meeting will be attended by foreign ministers from Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia as well as Arab League Secretary-general Dr. Esmat Abdel Maguid, Al Bilad newspaper reported today.
The Middle East and North Africa economic conference, scheduled to take place in Doha, Qatar in November, has been under heavy criticism because Israel is invited to attend.
