Jordan and Israel develop joint ventures

A plan was disclosed for the execution of 24 joint Jordan-Israel projects at a cost of one million Jordanian Dinars for the development of Jordan's border.
The Jordanian weekly Al Majd newspaper quoted a source in Jordan's Planning Ministry as saying on September 1 that a ministry expert has prepared a report on projects suggested in the plan, including those in the water, agriculture, tourism, energy and environment sectors.
Also, the Jordanian and Israeli governments have decided to draw up a plan to set up a hospital on the Jordanian side of the Red Sea coast.
