Better Bahrain-Iran relations

Bahrain's Amir, Sheikh Isa bin Sultan Al-Khalifa said yesterday he expected better relations with Iran under the presidency of Mohammed Khatami.
"Iran is a neighboring Muslim country and we look forward to having good ties with it," Khalifa announced. "We are optimistic that this (better ties) will be attained during Al-Khatami's rule," he added.
