The statement issued by the Central Bank mentioned that the committee headed by the Syrian Central Bank governor, Mohammed Bishara Kabara, passed a resolution to alter the exchange rate ratified by the neighboring countries from 43.5 to 45 Syrian Lira for one dollar in buying. And from 44 to 45.5 Lira for one dollar in selling. The new rates have been applied since last week.
