Child rapist arrested

The police force yesterday solved the death mistery of a ten years old girl who was found murdered in a cornfield two days ago.
Police sources said that investigations revealed that Harb Abdul Rahman, an 18-year-old butcher, had strangled the victim, Hind Omar Ahmed, after raping her in a deserted spot in the suburbs of Al Katawia village last Thursday afternoon.
Harb confessed to luring Hind, who was on her way home after delivering lunch to her father, to a remote spot, where he raped her. He killed her because he was afraid that she might tell her parents about the rape.
Harb, may face the death sentence if convicted, lawyers stated, Al-Asrar weekly said today August, 25.
