Experimental theater festival on September 1

The 9th Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater has been stepped up, said the Ministry of Culture on August 23.
The higher committee supervising the event will be chaired by Dr. Fawzi Fahmi, dean of the Academy of Arts.
The Ministry of Culture's undersecretary will work as secretary-general while Samir Gharieb the advisor of the minister and chief of the Cultural Development Fund is chosen to head the festivalšs public relations subcommittee.
Dr. Fahmi said that the minister will hold a press conference next week to cover all preparations of the festival, to be held from September 1-22, Al-Ahrar daily said today.
