El-Merghany meets SPLA delegation

Al Sayed Mohamed El Merghny, chairman of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and of the Democratic Unionist Party (DVP) met in the last two days a delegation from Sudan Peoplešs Liberation Army (SPLA).
The delegation included Dr. Mansour Khalid, the political advisor of Dr. John Garang, commander Daniel Kudy, in charge of the SPLA Middle East office, and commander Yaser Arman, the SPLA's representative in Eritria and in charge of information at Garang's office.
Commander Kudy said that the meeting comes within the framework of special relations between SPLA and the DUP.
He confirmed the depth of relations that connect the SPLA with DUP and described them as a guarantee for stability in the new Sudan.
The meeting reviewed the efforts for escalating opposition activity at diplomatic, information and military levels.
