Arab League chief visits Finland, Greece

The head of Arab diplomats, who left Cairo on August 23 on a two-leg tour, promised to encourage a bigger European role in restoring the Middle East peace process.
Dr. Esmat Abdel Maguid, the Arab League Secretary General, said he would discuss with officials in Greece and Finland the role of the two countries in deepening the European efforts in the Middle East, Al Rai El Aam paper said yesterday.
