Hrawi returns from Ladkieh

After President Hrawi met Syrian President Assad at Ladkieh in a summit that lasted 7 hours, he came back to Lebanon and reported the results of his meeting to Prime Minister Rafik Hariri at the Presidential Palace at Baabda.
The main issue of the Lebanese-Syrian summit was the escalating tension in South Lebanon, and other matters common to the two countries. Hrawi announced the intention of both governments to collaborate in order to steady the situation where peace would definitely be established in the region.
"Discussions focused on the tragic events that are taking place in south Lebanon, and on the contacts made to calm down the situation. The problem of Jezzine was also studied, and all efforts tend to return to the 242, 330, and 425 decisions" Hrawi said.
