Jordan discusses Middle East peace process with U.S. congressmen

Jordanian Prime Minister Abdel-Salam El-Majaly said yesterday that he discussed the faltering Middle East peace process with a visiting delegation of the U.S. congressmen, a Jordanian official said.
The meeting tackled "the latest developments in the peace process and efforts deployed to drag it out of its current impasse," said one official.
The delegation, led by representative Benjamen Gilman ( Republican-N.Y ) chairman of the house foreign relations committee, arrived in Amman for a two-day-visit as a part of a regional tour, Al-Anbaa newspaper said yesterday August, 21.
