Arab League urges Baghdad to pay dues

The financial and economic committee of the Arab League asked Secretary-general Esmat Abdul Magid, on August 20 to urge Iraq to pay its dues to the budget of the Arab League.
The committee said that Iraq leads the countries who are not paying their dues to the budget of the Arab League.
The committee also urged other Arab states to pay their shares in the budget and called on indebted countries to pay 80 million US dollars in late dues.
